Joe had a good winter flying his day job plus moments to plan his days off and recreational flying...

Joe hand writes letters but that sure looks like a computer next to the reading material...

Waiting at Newark for T/O January 2004...

Joe's children and other family members have been asking for a low and slow 2 place, the farm strip needs some dry warm weather and the prize Kubota tractor got a fresh paint job!

Joe built his fuselage with the instrument panel crosstube raised 2" at sta 2...

Joe flies into very rough fields and has been concerned about jamming his knees into the crosstube soooo...

Crosstube is raised another 2", wing braces reinforced and secondary crosstube installed 4" forward between longeron and diagonal brace with appropriate gussets...

A little more detail and now the knee clearance test!

Now the nearly finished product...

Nice knee clearance in there and do notice that the only damage done with the torch was to the fuzzy dice...

I think Joe secretly likes those gauges all over the office of the Airbus and pays tribute by mounting EGT and to be installed CHT at the TOP of the windscreen... Joe's squared up windscreen front panel is a design idea that I'm going to adopt soon on LEU #33...
